Adding a device with an enrollment code

Generate a one-time code in settings, enter it when the agent first launches, and the device wires itself up.

Devices enroll with a one-time code so you never handle API keys.

  1. In settings, open Devices and click Get code. Codes are single use and expire in 15 minutes.
  2. Launch the agent on the Mac you want monitored. On first run it asks for the code.
  3. Enter it. The agent registers itself, saves its own configuration, and starts checking in immediately.

The new device appears at the top of Devices, where you can rename it (helpful when you monitor more than one Mac) or remove it. Removing a device stops monitoring instantly and disconnects its agent; if the device was mid-outage, your contacts receive the all-clear so nothing is left hanging.

You can enroll multiple devices; each is monitored independently with its own outage timeline.
