Install the app on your phone and enable push

The settings app is an installable web app, and it is where outage check-ins become one-tap notifications. On your phone, go to app.proxigenta.com and sign in, then: on iPhone, open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, and launch it from your Home Screen — iOS only delivers notifications to the installed app. On Android, Chrome offers Install (or “Add to Home screen”).

Then enable notifications on the phone itself: in Integrations, under “Alerts on this device.” Two notifications matter most:

• The check-in: when your Mac goes silent, the push arrives on your phone over cellular data, even though your home internet is down and the check-in email may not reach you. The notification carries the “I'm online” action directly.
• Back online: confirmation when your device recovers, noting whether contacts were alerted.

One honest limitation: the phone app is a remote control and notification channel, not a monitor. It has no background heartbeat; your Mac's agent remains the only liveness source during the beta.
