Only alert when a meeting is coming up

Gate alerts on your calendar: an outage only escalates if a meeting is in progress or starting within your chosen window.

With the meeting gate on, an outage alerts your contacts only if your calendar shows a meeting in progress or starting within your chosen window (1 to 48 hours; default 12). A quiet Saturday with an empty calendar stays quiet, even if your Mac is off all day.

It fails safe by design. The gate only suppresses alerts when proxigenta affirmatively knows nothing is coming up. If calendar data is missing, stale, or permission was revoked, alerts send as normal. Uncertainty always resolves toward alerting.

Two caveats worth knowing:

It requires calendar sharing (above it in Integrations) to be on and working.
Only real meetings count: at least two attendees. A phone call you noted on your own calendar without inviting anyone has no attendees, so it will not hold the gate open. If those calls matter, invite the other person or widen your window.
