Test check-ins and Manual Trigger

Two controls let you exercise the system on your terms.

Send me a test check-in (in Devices) delivers the real check-in email and push notification to you only. No outage is declared and contacts are never involved. Use it after setup to see exactly what an outage morning would look like, and to confirm the emails reach your inbox.

Manual Trigger (a quick action on Overview) is the opposite: for when you know you are about to be unreachable and want your people told immediately. It starts your action plan with no check-in window and no sleep holds; you have asserted the outage is real. It stays active, even if your device keeps pinging, until you press Stand down.

Both actions are recorded in your activity log, so there is never confusion later about what was a drill and what was real.
