Editing message templates and variables
Every contact-facing message is editable, with variables for names, device, last-seen time, status page link, and the regional note.
Every message contacts receive is yours to edit in your Action Plan’s message timeline: the initial alert, up to four follow-ups, the powered-down note, and the back-online all-clear. Subjects and bodies are plain text with variables in curly braces:
{user_name},{contact_name},{device_name}: filled per recipient.{last_seen}: when the device last checked in.{status_url}: your public status page link, when enabled.{area_context}: the regional-event note. If you do not place it, the note is appended automatically when it applies.
Empty subject or body resets that message to the default. The defaults are deliberately calm: connectivity outages described factually, no drama, because the message is going to your boss or client.
Unsubscribe links and the reply-to routing are appended automatically to every message; you cannot accidentally edit compliance away.
