Per-message recipients: who hears first
Each message can go to all contacts or a chosen subset, which is how you decide who hears first and who joins later.
Each message in your Action Plan timeline has its own “Send to” setting: all contacts, or a specific subset. Combined with per-message timing, this is how you decide who hears first and who joins later.
Example: your assistant is the only recipient of the first alert, so they hear immediately. Your manager and a key client are on Follow-up 1, which fires 45 minutes in. Everyone is on the back-online all-clear.
Rules to know:
- Only confirmed contacts receive anything; pending contacts are shown badged in the picker as a reminder.
- An empty selection falls back to all contacts, so a message can never silently go to no one. The editor also warns you before saving a message whose recipients resolve to nobody.
- The back-online all-clear goes to recipients of that message who were actually alerted during the outage.
